Accounts Payable Specialist
Job description
LHH is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our energy industry client located in Austin, TX. This direct hire role offer a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days from home. In this role you will be responsible for processing and reconciling invoices, maintaining accurate records and providing support to the accounting department as need. The AP Specialist role pays $60-$65k based on experience and our clients promotes team morale and healthy work life balance. Please apply today!
Responsibilities
- Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
- 3 way matching with purchase orders
- Follow up with vendors in regards to invoice discrepancies
- Setup new vendors and make appropriate vendor updates
- Process payments via check, wire and ACH
- Assist with month end closing activities
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of accounts payable experience
- Impressive attention to detail
- Comfortable with formulas and formatting in Excel
- ERP software experience required
