This role will be performed in our Hudson, OH location.

This position is for Heavy Machinery Assembly. It is not an assembly line position.

POSITION SUMMARY: Assembles mixers for rubber and plastic machines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience assembling heavy machinery preferred
• Understanding of and the ability to assemble heavy/large equipment
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to do some stick welding (i.e., for mounting of brackets)
• Able to read micrometers and dial indicators
• Able to read and understand blueprints

• Use various hand tools and power tools
• Operate overhead cranes to lift and move parts
• Operate powered industrial trucks to transfer parts inside within the plant
• Able to do piping and tubing for grease systems
• Use and wear safety equipment (i.e. respirator, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Shop environment, forklift traffic, crane use, various employees performing independent tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position works in a team environment of at least two employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.30 per hour
