Role Overview

Marcus is one of the leading and fastest growing online bank, and marcus.com acts as the storefront for the business, hosting tens of millions of visitors who come to Marcus for high-yield savings accounts, certificates of deposits, and invest products.

The Marcus public site team is responsible for improving the performance and customer experience of the website, including driving the strategic roadmap for the site, managing current and developing new features, providing web traffic reports and analyses, and working with technology to execute the product. The team is performance-driven and focused on operational excellence.

As a Product Manager this team, you will take the lead on developing and executing the product roadmap for marcus.com, This includes determining feature/functionality and technology requirements - ongoing management, maintenance, design and strategic direction. As part of your role, you will interact and work with Technology, Marketing, Design, Business Product, Pricing, and Analytics among others. You will have direct impact to growing the business.

Responsibilities

  • Work with broader public site team to identify the high impact features and functionality of the website and develop long-term strategic roadmap for the product
  • Lead end to end development of new features and functionality for the website, including overseeing requirements discovery, solution design, feature development
  • Groom user and technical stories with Technology and validate that requirements deliver on expectations throughout the product testing and user journeys
  • Manage features once live, developing monitoring and maintenance operating model working with Analytics and Technology
  • Act as a senior leader of the public site team, providing advice on excellence in CMS and web operations, including developing and enforcing best practices for web and mobile web design – responsive design, content reuse, QA best practices
  • Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Monitor data coming from website technologies (e.g., heat mapping tools or web analytics software) to ensure data integrity and enhance features to drive better analysis
  • Establish feedback loops with engineering, marketing, business product, analytics for deeper understanding and response to customer needs and product behavior
  • Work with users research and usability team as needed to gain feedback on product

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience on digital product management and managing large websites
  • Experience with large scale technical project management
  • Proficient in major analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Experience working with Adobe cloud stacks (e.g., Audience Experience Manager, Target, Launch, etc)
  • Proficient in major product management applications (i.e. Jira, Confluence)
  • Technical background with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON and APIs
  • Familiarity with Tableau or any data visualization reporting tools is a plus
  • Experience collecting and analyzing behavioral data to understand patterns and terms

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
