The Site Auditor will obtain and communicate the necessary project information to the project manager for the preparation of permit ready documents needed for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems. The Site Auditor will be responsible for taking accurate measurements inside and outside of the client's properties. This includes but is not limited to taking pictures of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and general property to upload immediately upon completion through tools provided.

The Site Inspection Team is responsible for gathering all the on-site information needed from a customer’s home to design and install a PV solar system. Each job is unique in its requirements, and the Site Inspector’s job is to discover and collect all the specifics for each home.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a positive relationship with customers to establish rapport and to gather site information as needed
  • Perform site survey activities with a team and independently
  • Conduct a physical site audit using auditing tools including a tablet PC, measuring devices, a digital camera, and other related equipment
  • Document the project site with photos using a company provided digital camera and a smart phone application, ensure there are no unexpected site conditions upon installation
  • Shading: Access the roof to measure site shading and roof dimensions
  • Gathers detailed structural data on multiple types of buildings
  • Identifies issues on homes that may interfere with our installations
  • Gathers all electrical data required by the company
  • Fill out, site surveying sheets needed by Engineering Department to produce permit-ready documents, uploading data to the project management system
  • Drive to multiple locations across the region as required for the day’s inspections
  • Access customer rooftop to measure roof area for mounting PV solar modules, and determine integrity of the roof
  • Access customer attic to inspect structural members essential for Engineering the system
  • Open up and document customer electrical panel for interconnection information
  • Complete Site Inspection paperwork and upload all information to company software
  • Other duties as required
  • This position is Full-time 4 days 10 hour shift
  • Multiple positions available
  • Available shifts: Monday-Thursday, Tuesday-Friday, Wednesday-Saturday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour
