We are seeking a Shop Manager / Auto body Estimator to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of technicians. This job requires interaction with insurance companies, body shop employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Write solid, correct and complete estimates that meet insurance and customer standards
• Over-see repairs all the way through from writing estimate, ordering parts, supervising repairs and delivering quality repairs
• Coordinate the daily activities of the team
• Delegate repair assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Excellent quality control on repairs and deliver completed repairs to satisfied customers
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years collision repair estimating experience
• Proficiency using insurance driven estimating and management system, CCC One, Mitchell etc.
• Must have a good understanding and working relationship with DRPs
• Prior knowledge and experience with good automotive repair SOPs and enforce them to coordinate a seamless and effective workflow in shop
• Needs to be a quick learner, highly motivated, focused & career-minded individual
• Knowledge of autobody shop tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent work attendance
• Superb people management skills
• Must be able to transition shop to adhere to new automotive repair technology and insurance/estimating and management systems
• I-Car certification a plus
