Position Overview:
The Service Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and perform quality repairs on assigned repairs. Fix the vehicle right the first time! Make a quality check after each repair . Advise Service Writer of needed repairs, including parts needs, and advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order.

• A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
• Consistently high levels of documented customer satisfaction as measured by manufacturer, company, and dealership sponsored surveys
• Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with management, parts personnel, and other technicians
• Assure customers consistently receive good value
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Certifications from manufacturers or ASE are a plus
• Sense of urgency
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• 2+ years as a Service Technician in a dealership setting
• You have a technician certification (s) from an accredited technical school

Essential Functions:

• Perform quality repairs on assigned repairs. Fix the vehicle right the first time! Make a quality check after each repair
• Advise the Service Writer of needed repairs, including parts needs, and advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order
• Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and any other pertinent information needed to describe repair activities
• Ensure current knowledge of the latest technical data and service procedures.
• Attend required service training sessions or meetings and share expertise with others
• Maintain essential tools necessary to complete assigned jobs
• Maintainability to correctly use all company equipment and tools or seek assistance as needed. Clean and lock up all devices daily
• Perform all repairs in designated work areas unless otherwise instructed by the Group Leader

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
