Nelson's Ace Hardware is a local family owned hardware store in Eagle River, WI. We are currently looking for full time Cashiers to join our team. Our Cashiers act as a point of contact for our customers. Duties include greeting customers, assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, cleaning, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Pay is based on experience. Shifts vary. Weekends are required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service
• Greet customers as they enter the store and tactfully deal with customer issues that arise
• Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Help in other departments as needed

Job Qualifications:

• A commitment to service and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of customers
• Ability to process information and/or merchandise through register system
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Basic mathematic skills
• Detail oriented, multi-tasker, and organized
• Prior retail experience is preferred, but not required

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
