Welcome to Habana Outpost!

We are a seasonal Cuban-Mexican fusion restaurant located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. We are looking for a team of hardworking and upbeat individuals dedicated to providing the best service possible to our community. Our goal is to bring people together and to create an environment where every kind of person feels welcome and at home.

Here at Habana we do things a bit differently. We don't separate our staff by position, and instead train everyone to do both positions. Everyone is paid equally, regardless of which job they are working that day. Instead of tipped minimum wage, we provide minimum wage(15/hr) plus tips, and all tips are pooled daily amongst the front of house staff.

Our Expectations:

-Hard Working

-Positive attitude

-Loves talking and interacting with people

-Able to be on your feet for shifts of 6+ hours

-1 year experience in food service (preferred)

Counter Job Duties:

-Taking orders at the counter and inputting them into the system

-Pouring frozen margaritas, beers on tap, and other soft drinks

-Keeping the bar stocked

Floor Job Duties:

-Bussing tables, wiping them down for new guests to sit

-Keeping the courtyard free of garbage

-Making batches for frozen drinks

-Changing beer kegs

-Keeping cutlery/napkins stocked at all stations

You will be trained to do both jobs, and can expect to see them both on your schedule!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 per hour
