Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Manager-Customer Service, provides service support to both PPO and TPA clients through telephone contact, meetings, problem solving and follow up. Assists the Manager-Sales and Marketing,Manager-Customer Service and the Director-TPA Operations with selected accounts. Generates, validates and delivers reports as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains regular contact with client groups and responds appropriately to requests for service and/or assistance.
- Interacts with appropriate sources to research and resolve client questions or issues.
- Establishes and maintains employer group records within the FACTS computer system.
- Responds to requests for standard and/or special reports. Validates all reports before distributing.
- Provides support on a day to day basis for individual accounts handled by the sales manager, customer service manager and/or the TPA operations director.
Required Experience/Education
- Notes:
- Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.
- Minimum Experience:
- 2 - 3 years in the healthcare/health insurance/managed care industry.
- Minimum Education:
- High School or G.E.D.
- Physical Demands:
- Mostly sedentary work
- Skills:
- Intermediate computer skills, analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong grasp of health insurance and managed care.
