Job Summary:

Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals to join the Corporate Development Department as our Communications Manager. This position will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop branding initiatives, internal communications, and external communication.
• Develop and manage internal publications such as newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned publications, online, intranet, special projects, and assignments.
• Determines communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization.
• Support communication efforts for the firm s executives, including drafting emails, speeches, talking points, and announcements.
• Support external public relations efforts with other departments including employee announcements, project wins, and all other news relating to the firm.
• Manage and monitor company s website and social media postings.
• Maintain connections with industry peers through professional societies and events.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or comparable
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing, Journalism, or Public relations, A/E/C industry experience, preferred.
• Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational ability and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Ability to travel to attend industry events with the Philadelphia area.
