Initially we are looking for a PM/ superintendent that can manage a large project near Salida. The successful candidate will be semi-autonomous therefore, integrity and disciplined time management in handling day to day tasks in a thorough and professional manner will be a significant factor in hiring. Residents local to the Salida BV area is a plus but not required.

Compensation will be in line with the experience.

Below is a representative but not exhaustive list of responsibilities and requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of building construction from initial planning to completion
• Manage daily operations for multiple projects, trades, and job site personal, cost control
• Conform to company policy and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrate understanding of site logistics, planning, site safety and construction operations.
• Proficient at reading and comprehending construction plans, specification, contracts, purchase agreements and project scope
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedule, provide weekly updated schedules and daily job logs
• Maintain material deliverable schedule
• Responsible for quality control & efficiency of operations
• Maintain and track productivity and work interfaces
• Complete and maintain proper documentation accurately and timely including daily reports, photos, as-builts, etc.
• Participate in coordination meetings with all subs, owners, architects, and consultants as needed
• Review construction documents for completeness, value, and constructability
• Identify plan and spec discrepancies with project design team
• Responsible for the safety of the site and all workers
• Responsible for assisting in developing and managing general budgets as well as overall project costs
• Responsible for assisting in developing and expanding qualified trade and supplier resources

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a custom home residential superintendent – prefer project management experience as well.
• Prefer estimating experience
• Knowledge of all aspects of construction technology, equipment, and methods; trade agreements, jurisdiction and negotiations; engineering, cost control, schedules, and safety
• Excellent communication, organization, and supervisory skills essential
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw solid conclusions and implement solutions.
• Functional experience with MS Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Experience with CoConstruct, BuilderTrend, Bluebeam On Screen a plus but not required.
• OSHA training desirable
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
