Are you a new graduate with a bachelor’s degree who wants to gain valuable and life changing experience in the human services field?

Join Bay State Community Services Home and Community Based team — we are a Massachusetts based company providing services designed to enhance a family’s capacity to support their youth’s functioning within the home and community

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions to children & their families.
  • Identify and empower families to utilize community resources.
  • Teach youth to understand, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional response to situations.
  • Assist the family to address the youth's emotional and mental health needs.

Requirements:

Qualifications/Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field and 1 year relevant experience working with families and youth; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in non Human Service field and more than 1 year relevant experience working with families and youth; OR
  • Associate’s degree in Human Service field and 1 year relevant experience working with families and youth, supervised by licensed clinician; OR
  • Associate’s degree in non Human Service field and more than 1 year relevant experience working with families and youth, supervised by licensed clinician
  • Knowledge of and ability to assess – human growth and development, principals of Wraparound and Systems theory
  • Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
  • Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
