• Must be encouraging, prompting, reminding, cueing, observing, guiding and/or training in activities based on the client’s Individual Plan of Service. (Meal prep, personal dignity during meals, dining skills, home care, daily living skills, personal care, medication knowledge, socialization, community inclusion and aiding individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires).
• Must be self-directed drive to help each client acquire new skills. Must be able to direct influence and dedication will inspire each client's growth.
• Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates or individuals in the community.
• Must be able to supervise clients within their home and when out in the community with staff.
• Staff assistance with preserving the health and safety of the individual in order that he/she may reside or be supported in the most integrated, independent community and/or home settings.
• Must be reliable, have infinite patience, and maintain a positive.
• Capable of appropriately handling emergency situations.
• Must be able to use a mobile application (training will be provided)
• Must be able to monitor and administer medication as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• CPR/ First Aid (Training Provided)
• Direct Care Training (Training Provided)
• Medication (Training Provided)
• Ability to work in a client’s home and/or community.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
• Must have a caring and compassionate personality.
