Compensation: $18.00-26.00 per hour (D.O.E. and Service Line)

Schedule: Full-time, Part-time

Direct Service Professionals (caregiver):

Do you want to provide care and support to people in your community? As a caregiver, you will be at the forefront of the company as the go-to person for our clients! In this important role, you will provide in-home personal care to people who receive Medicaid home care services. You may have lifting with assistance over 75 lbs. and may have frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling. You will be an employee of Consumer Direct Care Network Alaska. The client or their authorized representative will be your managing employer and work with you to develop a schedule to provide care. Apply today if you want to help people live the life they want!

As a caregiver, you will assist Clients with tasks which may include, but are not limited to:

• Helping with activities of daily living, such as walking, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, medication reminders, housekeeping, laundry, toileting, and other authorized duties as assigned
• Transporting client(s) to and from appointments (medical), errands, and select activities
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs of client(s)
• Addressing client(s) needs with respect and attention to safety
• Submitting documentation as outlined in agency’s caregiver handbook/policies
• Communicating with internal staff and the client’s care team in a positive and supportive manner, returning emails/phone calls within a 24-hour turnaround time frame

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess or ability to pass a Background Check
• Maintain a CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 75 lbs. or more
• Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
• Complete training requirements
• Demonstration to provider the ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if authorized to provide transportation for a client)
