Front Desk

Busy orthopaedic surgery practice seeking an enthusiastic, positive and welcoming front desk receptionist with previous medical experience. Medical terminology and bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities: Answering phones, filing, scanning, faxing, medical records maintenance, account creation, patient scheduling, insurance verification and authorization, patient check-in and check-out, cash and credit card collection and end of day collection balancing.

Programs used: Athena, Mac OS.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of medical terminology, computer skills, EHR software, and professional written and oral communication.

• Experience with medical insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
