The Quality and Patient Safety Nurse Specialist will be a full-time, permanent employee for a community-centered health system known for their Critical Access Hospital, Physician and Specialty Clinics, Birth Center, Rehab Services, Home Health Care, Emergency and Trauma Services, Outpatient Services, and more.

Reporting to the Director Quality and Safety, the Hospital Patient Safety Nurse Coordinator will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient and workplace safety plans through conducting annual risk assessments, reviewing and updating safety goals, root-cause analysis, and cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ideally, the Hospital Patient Safety Nurse Coordinator will have previous HRO implementation experience along with knowledge of rapid cycle improvement theory and human factor principles.

Patient Safety Nurse Coordinator Qualifications

• RN license
• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous Quality, Risk or Patient Safety experience within a hospital or ambulatory setting
