Summary:
The Life Enrichment Staff Member assists in delivering, planning, organizing and implementing a program of planned activities to meet the individual needs of the resident that will give them opportunities to meet emotional, physical, spiritual, cognitive and creative needs and interests. Works with all levels of care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist in and to lead designated group and individual activities per monthly calendar and as assigned.
- Assist in posting resident calendars in the individual rooms by the first of each month.
- To assist in decorating halls and bulletin boards with seasonal decorations.
- To shop for residents who have no other means for shopping.
- To read mail to the resident when requested by that resident and to deliver as assigned.
- Assist with group and individual volunteers as assigned.
- To assist in planning the monthly newsletter/calendars.
Education and/or Experience:
- Basic computer skills
- Experience preferred with long-term care or having worked with the geriatric population would be helpful. A knowledge and willingness to try all types of activities is necessary.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift, 8:30am – 5:00pm
