Job Description


The PM Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible to perform duties of preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment as required. This position will also cover various maintenance related duties as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance functions per schedule including:
    • Injection molding machines
    • EOAT
    • Thermolators
    • Hot Runner Control Systems
    • Grinders
    • Robotic pickers
  • Perform maintenance on mechanical and pneumatic powered, electronically controlled robotic systems and understand basic controls
  • Ability to maintain computer based machine repair and PM records system
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, SOP’s, and machine manuals
  • Operate drill press, grinder, welding, and other maintenance equipment to fabricate or repair parts
  • Working knowledge of programming of PLCs a plus
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment and electrical testing instruments
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs.
  • Comply with OSHA and all safety practices in repair and installation
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years in a manufacturing maintenance environment
  • Computer experience
  • Ability to keep accurate records
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enjoys working in a hands-on environment, and not opposed to getting dirty
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Enjoys jumping in and helping other teammates and departments
  • Ability to work effectively in participative management environment as well as ability to work with little or no supervision
