Liberty Bell Steaks is a family run business producing Philadelphia’s famous beef chip steaks or better known as - Cheesesteaks. We are looking for an outside sales representative who will be reporting directly to the owner and selling to regional food distributors and chain businesses. You will manage existing accounts as well as seek out new businesses in established regions. Candidates must be extremely self-motivated and be comfortable working independently to find new sales and make industry connections. The job requires representatives to learn industry specific information and attend food shows as a representative of Liberty Bell Steaks.

Position is: Salary - Commission - Benefits & Profit Sharing

• Establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients.
• Ability to create and follow up with potential leads while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
• Extremely self-motivated and be comfortable working independently with little oversight.
• Planning and implementing sales strategies to increase sales.
• Maximizing sales opportunities through outstanding customer service.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree a plus
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Previous experience in food industry a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient use of MS Word and Excel
• Self-motivated and willing to work the road
• Should have own transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
