Job Title: Registered Nurse Med/Surg

Location: Binghamton, NY

Job Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract position to join our Med/Surg team at our healthcare facility located in Binghamton, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and have a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg unit
• Monitor and assess patient health status and communicate with healthcare team regarding any changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New York
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing
• BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
