Job description

The project manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling

Knowledge in providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
-Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
-Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
-Ensure that construction activities move according to a predetermined schedule.
-Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
-Communicate effectively with the Subcontractors/employees responsible for completing various phases of the project.
-Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.
-Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
-Ensure project documents are complete.
-Inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and building code
-Prepares status reports of the project
-Maintain quality control and quality assurance
-Must be able to maintain a good relationship with the owner, architect, and subcontractors.

JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum 2 years of management experience with direct experience managing staff in the construction industry. (required)
-Reasonable computer proficiency, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ---------Outlook that may be used on the job to respond to service requests, order supplies, submit purchase orders, etc. (required)
-Fluent in English (required)
-Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively meet deadlines. (required)
-Comfortable with language barriers or constraints;
-Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies.
-Experience working on large scale construction projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
