Midland Plastics takes pride in our Quality department! You are a vital part of our business. We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who has an eye for detail and knows how to manage and motivate our QA Technicians.

• Develop and implement quality control measures: You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control measures that are efficient and effective. This may include statistical process control, mistake-proofing, and visual management. You will need to monitor production processes, identify any issues that arise, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Train employees: You will need to train employees on quality control measures and ensure that they understand the importance of quality in the manufacturing process. You will also need to ensure that employees are following the established quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments: You will need to work closely with other departments, such as production and engineering, to ensure that quality is integrated into every aspect of the manufacturing process. This includes collaborating with these departments to identify areas where the manufacturing process can be improved to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Lead improvement projects: A key principle of lean manufacturing is continuous improvement. You will need to lead improvement projects and identify areas where the manufacturing process can be improved to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards: You will need to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards. This includes performing quality checks on products and ensuring that they meet the required specifications.
• Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of PPAP, ISIR, and other project-launch documentation.

Overall, your role as the Quality Manager is critical to ensuring that the manufacturing process operates at maximum efficiency and products of the highest quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
