The position of Receiver II will be located in our Beaverton, OR location!


Summary
The Receiver II is responsible for the timely receiving of freight and use of a stand-up reach truck for storage of product in all zones while maintaining company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Receiver II is expected to receive incoming small package freight and must have the ability to use a stand-up reach truck to stock all items correctly, safely, and completely, as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS) program.


What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Assume responsibility for immediately addressing safety concerns
  • Correctly select product to be stocked from the receiving lanes through use of a wireless hand-held device
  • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment, safely and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area as directed by the WMS
  • Properly handle, move, stack, and/or pack various types of merchandise for stocking
  • Ensure that all receiving documents and functions are completed accurately, and all products are free of damage
  • Maintain a minimum standard in two zones in compliance with current company policies in both accuracy and productivity
  • Receive small package freight (i.e. UPS/FedEx). Responsible for the accurate checking in and counting of inbound freight
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required
  • Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) hand-held device during the stocking process
  • Operate narrow-aisle stand-up rider lift trucks in performance of stocking duties as required
  • Perform daily machine check list and operate any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required
  • Properly use and understand all computer programs and hardware necessary for completion of the job task
  • Report any damage to electronic hardware, material handling equipment at the Distribution Center immediately to a Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School or GED preferred
  • Successful completion of training in Zone 1 required
  • Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. Training will be provided by the company

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be willing to be trained on all the following material handling equipment: Forklifts, stand-up reach truck, High-Reach Narrow-Aisle, Stand-Up Rider pallet Jack that conform to OSHA safety training requirements. Training will be provided by the company as needed
  • Must be able to operate stand-up reach truck
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math skills to work environment
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and understand RF scanning devices
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
