A Pennsylvania based healthcare provider is seeking a Dietician for their Uniontown, PA location. Join a great organization focused on providing care and support to senior community members. Some field work is required. Mileage reimbursement.

This position is open for immediate hire - 8-week Contract

Job Summary:

• Dietician is responsible for providing nutrition care and education to participants.
• Evaluate the participant's nutritional status, develop and implement nutritional care plans, assess nutrient requirements, recommend nutritional prescriptions, evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care,and communicate nutritional data and information to the physicians and other health professionals.
• Applies theory and practice of dietetics, nutritional requirements, special diet requirements, and principles of sound economy, food spoilage and sanitation.
• Responsible for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree from an accredited institution with major studies in food and nutrition or dietetics. Master's Degree plus approved work experience preferred.
• Must be ADA Registered
• Previous food service experience in health care preferred.
• Must have one year experience working with the frail and/elderly.
• Knowledge of clinical dietetics is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
