Role Background and Description

This specific Regional Sales role sells and markets 3 leading Percussion brands; Zildjian®, Vic Firth® and Balter® direct to 70 Independent owned Dealers in the Western Region across Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. The Western Region Sale Representative position is responsible for achieving the Company’s Annual Sales Plan for the Western Region, developing a consistent coverage pattern meeting in-person and virtually with the frequency necessary to provide outstanding Sales leadership to their Dealer-Customer base. This position is accountable for achieving their Distribution, Pricing, Placement, Merchandising, Market Share objectives. This role reports to the West Division Sales Manager.

Requirements:

Role Requirements

  • College Degree, Bachelors
  • 8-10 Years of Music Industry sales experience, Percussion Sales a plus
  • Omni-Channel Selling and Order Entry experience
  • Strong Customer Management, Negotiating and Operating Budget/Expense
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in an ERP (Infor Syteline a plus)
  • Excel, PowerPoint & Microsoft Office systems experience
  • Annual Business Planning experience executing delivery of Volume Quotas & Budget Management
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Forecasting & Demand Generation experience
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • 25% Travel (3-4 days/Month)
  • Live in the Territory
