Purpose

To oversee and manage client accounts as well as set up new client accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaison between practice administrators for their groups
  • Liaison between collection agencies
  • Oversee administrative assistant team in the Reimbursement department
  • Monitor appropriate workload of administrative staff and staff productivity
  • Oversee AR
  • Review monthly profile analysis reports
  • Review monthly executive summaries
  • Work with follow up / Teams Leads to ensure specific issues, projects or problems are being resolved
  • Review letters of hardships
  • Attend client meetings when requested
  • Assist with administrative assistants’ questions
  • Assist with training management staff
  • Comply with all State and Federal Laws regarding an effective Compliance Program inclusive of HIPAA Privacy and Security
    • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Computer Skills

Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.

Experience

Minimum of five (5) years third party billing experience preferred.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

  • Must show strong computer skills, ability to learn new and existing software and understand the capabilities and limitations and integrations within the entire infrastructure of the company
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • Ability to multitask and change direction at any given time
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
