Full-Time/40hrs/Non-Exempt/$21.00 – $33.60 per hour (DOE)


Additional Pay differentials - must qualify through program, shift, testing, or verification.

  • Crisis – ($2.00 per hour)
  • Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish ($1.00 per hour)
  • Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($1.00 per hour)
  • Overnight/Graveyard - Stay Awake Shifts ($1.00 per hour)

Our Crisis Response Services is seeking MHRS or Care Managers to provide individual and group rehabilitation services in Mendocino County. Assist in providing behavioral interventions & support to adults experiencing mental health crises as required by an individual’s client plan. Under the direction of a Licensed Clinician, is responsible for developing and implementing one-to-one therapeutic interventions. Participates as a member of the treatment team and collaborates with family and community members and agencies to best support and help clients with their specified goals, maintaining a full caseload of clients, and competence to document for Medi-Cal services. Must be able to provide written verification of experience upon hire. Must have current auto insurance, valid CA driver’s license, no more than 3 points on driver record. Education/Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in a mental health-related field providing direct mental health services. Bilingual preferred, not required.


Classifications and Qualifications for CM/MHRS

  • MHRS I, II, III: Associate degree +6 years; Bachelor's degree +4 years or Master's degree +2 years working with at-risk youth in a residential or mental health setting.
  • MHRS IV & V: Meets requirements of MHRS I,II, or III. Including additional requirements and experience outlined in the scope of work. *Job Description will be provided.
  • CM III: An individual who has at least four (4) years of full-time/equivalent (FTE) experience in a mental health-related field proving direct mental health services. Up to two (2) years of the four (4) years of experience can be substituted by years of education in a mental health-related field. There is a minimum requirement of two (2) years of actual work experience. *
  • CM II: An individual who has at least two (2) years but less than four years of FTE experience in a mental health-related field providing direct mental health services.

  • The education requirement for a CM III - must be a minimum of two (2) years of education (60 semester or 90 quarter units) with a minimum of 12 semesters (18 quarter) units in a mental health-related subject area such as child development, social work, human behavior, rehabilitation, psychology, or alcohol and drug counseling.


CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position may work within ALL other agency programs, consistent with their scope of practice, on a as needed basis. In addition, may require occasional flexible work schedule to meet the individualized needs of each client.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout, clear background check w/DOJ, CAC, FBI, CPR and First Aid Certified. TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.
