Job Summary

The Senior HCM Sales Consultant is responsible for working closely with their HCM Sales Associate counterpart on all aspects of outbound prospecting, field and digital marketing events, inbound lead qualification, sales discovery meetings, sales demos, proposal creation, winning new clients, conducting the handoff to implementation, and retaining and upselling clients.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Execute business development activities such as outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, running/attending events, top-of-funnel telemarketing, and email marketing.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure adoption of the PNI technology/service, retention, and revenue expansion through the form of upselling and referrals to other divisions.
  • Solicit referrals from clients and trusted advisors (CPAs, bankers, insurance brokers, etc.) by nurturing and investing in relationships.
  • Oversee the HCM Sales Associate's activity, pipeline progression, funnel conversion metrics, and overall quality of written communication and sales conversations in conjunction with the Sales Associate Manager.
  • Create a culture of accountability and performance inside of your Pod, which is defined as you and your HCM Sales Associate counterpart.
  • Exude extreme ownership of the Pod's quota for client retention, upsell, and new business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is what we are looking for:

  • 5+ years in midmarket outside sales with proven success in quota attainment. Payroll, Human Resources, or related Software-as-a-Service experience preferred.
  • Thirst for knowledge, willingness to grow and develop, and an ability to utilize any tools required to be successful.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, HubSpot CRM, and HCM Sales.
  • Superior organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task, manage and complete time-sensitive cross-functional projects.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience preferred.
