Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following essential functions:
• Runs and statuses reports to determine workability of orders for AutoStore area.
• Maintains schedules and released and unreleased order reports.
• Schedule’s production orders according to workability requirements, customer priority, and due date.
• Follows special or priority orders to ensure proper processing.
• Performs repetitive motion as required to support production.
• Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Suggests and implements continuous process improvements.
• Implement the directions and initiatives of the department manager.
• Supervise and direct personnel on shift in performing operations according to company policies.
• Review daily production schedules for the department to plan work and personnel assignments to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with all safety procedures and requirements.
• Anticipate and determine causes for delays in the shift and take appropriate action.
• Report promptly to manager and other concerned parties when delays may effect production.
• Coordinate with Human Resources and department manager any actions or issues regarding hiring, compensation, leave of absence, medical restrictions, harassment, coaching, counseling and/or disciplining of employees.
• Perform administrative functions such as timekeeping, recordkeeping and paperwork correctly.
• Understand the role and function of all positions within the department and demonstrate the ability to train and evaluate employees on each position.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED is required. Associates degree or bachelors’ degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years prior leadership experience. Candidate must have good communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• It would be great if the candidates were bilingual, but this is not required.

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday

• Smyrna, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
