Job Summary
This position serves as the Department support person to faculty, staff, students and any other visitors to the department. It will help with basic administrative tasks.
Essential Functions
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and prospective students to the university.
- Scheduling meetings on behalf of faculty and staff as requested.
- Assist students with course registration.
- Oversee student employees and manage their schedules.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for faculty and campus guests.
- Assist with event planning and support for the department.
- Assist with administrative tasks including submitting work orders, drafting correspondence, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
