Lithonia Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital which also provides equine medical and surgical services. Lithonia Animal Hospital is located in Lithonia, GA (DeKalb County). The hospital was established by Dr. Edward Ray Wright in 1972. Our mission is to provide high quality veterinary medical and surgical services through a responsive, professional staff. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership to all types of pets including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, mice, sugar gliders, rats, and other various rodents.

Full or part-time Veterinary Assistant. Must display a positive attitude and professional disposition with clients.

Skills:

• Compassionate attitude

• Dental radiography and dental prophylaxis
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance

• Feline friendly restraint techniques. Ability to safely restrain or handle animals for medical procedures while minimizing stress

• Ability to follow established protocols and standing instructions.
• Must be detailed oriented with a nurturing ability to care for the fragile.

Additional Salary Information: Based on education and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
