Overview:
The Warehouse Area Manager assists the Warehouse Manager in providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.
Responsibilities:

- Assists receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Hire and make recommendations on employment status.
- Directs all warehouse personnel to meet DC goals.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Establish and preserve a positive work atmosphere.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse equipment.
- May be required to cross train and perform other duties

- 1+ years warehouse leadership experience.
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Flexibility with hours: ability to work varied hours, days, night, and weekends as business dictates.
- Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely.
- Ability to complete computer-based training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all audiences.
- Good visual acuity.
- Close vision for computer work.
- Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day.
- Ability to repetitively lift, bend, carry, and push.
