Job Summary

Manage project structure in accounting system, financial prequalification, project opening, tracking project costs, updating project forecasts and project closeouts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage project structure in accounting system, financial prequalification, project opening, tracking project costs, updating project forecasts and project closeouts.
• Ensure accurate and timely project billings based on contractual terms, including appropriate supporting documentation as needed.
• Monitor cash collections and communicate with clients regarding all past due invoices.
• Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable duties and reporting.
• Prepare and submit job payroll, certified payroll reporting and union reports.
• Research and respond to project related questions as requested.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports for management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.*
• Professional services accounting experience with at least 2 years in the construction industry.*
• Previous QuickBooks accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to analyze project financials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
