Accountant Job Description

At Industrial Air Power, our team is comprised of results driven individuals who are self-motivated in daily activities to accomplish common goals. We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. This is an in office position located at our Muskego, Wisconsin location, reporting to the General Manager.

The Accountant is responsible for the execution and accuracy of day-to-day transactions. This person will interact frequently with others as a key member of our strong team environment. Some of the daily activities include reconciling business accounts, generating reports, transacting accounts payables and accounts receivables. This role may be assigned specific tasks or special projects as needed for the business.

Responsibilities:

· Managing and executing the daily accounting and financial operations of the business

· Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and generating reports

· Receiving and applying customer payments daily

· Reconciling of business accounts

· Assisting others with invoicing as volume requires

· Partnering with and providing training and assistance to Bookkeeper

· Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement in processes

· Any additional duties as needed

Requirements:

· College degree or equivalent work experience

· Strong financial acumen

· Ability to create and analyze reports using systems and software

· Organized and detail oriented

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to problem solve and make logical business decisions

· Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency
