DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the accounts payable function.

Performs daily duties including, but not limited to:

(1) balancing and posting of daily activity with the corporate account and federal reserve

(2) balancing checks received and shared branching activity

(3) ACH balancing

(4) processing of incoming and outgoing wire transfers

Maintains and reconciles the fixed asset system

Performs month end duties, including but not limited to:

(1) reconciling general ledger accounts

(2) performing various month end accruals

Assists as a backup to other accounting personnel as needed

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of similar or related experience, preferably in a financial institution.

General knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks

Symitar knowledge helpful.

A college degree, completion of a specialized certification, or relevant accounting experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
