Job description
Responsibilities:
o Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company's financial status
o Produces and manages balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses
o Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
o Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization
o Liaison with Parent Company auditors
o Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation
o Prepare Monthly/Quarterly reports according to Parent Company Guidelines
o Responsible for Ad Hoc reporting for upper management
o 1099 Reconciliation
o 401K Report Platform including contribution uploads and 401K audit
o Oversees and maintains HubSpot CRM Platform
o Manage relationship with PEO for benefits/payroll; administer benefits program
Qualifications/skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Highly skilled in accounting and financial processes
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Detail oriented and highly organized
o Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
o Proficient in accounting software (experience with Projector PSA and Quickbooks a plus)
o Excellent critical thinking skills
o Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
o Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
o 5+ years' experience in accounting
o CPA or CMA a plus
o Public Accounting experience a plus
o Experience with migration to a larger EPM system a plus
