POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Program Manager (APM) will manage the performance of the contract and will communicate directly with the COR regarding day-to-day contract operations. The onsite APM’s sole responsibility is to manage the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of contractor personnel assigned to perform under this contract.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitors contract performance through the daily use of applicable reports, reporting systems, and/or authorized databases to ensure success in meeting frequent changes in operational demands.
- Tracks all tasks and deliverables, as well as daily operational workflow.
- Ensures compliance with processes and task performance unless otherwise directed in writing by the COR.
- Provides weekly and monthly status reports.
- Works with management to prioritize business and information needs.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum of three (3) years specialized experience; or eight (8) years general experience and (3) years specialized experience.
- Specialized experience must include a minimum of one (1) year of program management experience and two (2) years of specialized experience administrating functions related to a Personnel Security Program Office.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe.
- Ability to read, write and apply direction from documents such as operating procedures, quality control procedures, and instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Required to undergo the government background investigation for employment suitability.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- The work is primarily sedentary. Employee will have consistent and direct visual contact with a computer monitor. The work is performed in an office setting that is adequately lit and climate controlled.
