Position Overview:
Reporting to Manager, Human Resources, the Associate HR Business Partner will facilitate the HR processes and programs that support our colleagues in the Operations organization. This position will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities that support the teams through programs such as performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and interpretation/application of employment policies and procedures. This role will be the front-facing HR presence for the Operations organization and partner with the appropriate HR functional/centers of excellence areas you will resolve challenges that colleagues face to allow them to quickly re-engage in their work. The Associate HR Business Partner will be accountable for executing the items detailed below and for performing other duties as assigned.
This is a hybrid role, with an average of two (2) days in office per week on Tuesday and Thursday at our Global Headquarters in Shakopee, MN.
Responsibilities:
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with leaders and colleagues and partner with them advising, providing insights and resources, to help identify potential employee relations issues while driving consistency and follow up in HR processes
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the business and market in order to influence effectiveness and provide insight to assigned client leadership. Experience with data analysis and pulling insights and recommendations from data. Actively listens to the business on improvements that could be made to the metrics.
  • Recommend practices and procedures that support the company philosophy, culture and strategic goals. Support HR, business unit, and corporate driven change including DEI&B initiatives
  • Work with assigned leadership and HR team members to manage voluntary and involuntary employee separations
  • Partner with client group leaders and the talent acquisition team on open positions to recruit and hire the best talent for our needs
  • Facilitate compensation, performance management, and talent management processes within assigned client group
  • Effectively manage sensitive and confidential employee relations issues, in partnership with HR Leadership and Legal, to support investigations and conflict resolution. Sound judgment and decision making, resolving problems, providing solutions, and taking vital actions to prevent them from developing in future.
  • Guide and coach leaders on how to effectively manage and resolve colleague issues including how to navigate critical conversations. (e.g., performance management, rewards, separations)
  • Complete employee changes and actions in HRIS system for assigned client group working with our global HR operations, talent acquisition, and other HR functional teams
  • Maintains awareness of local labor laws
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology or related field
  • 1 year of experience working in Human Resources, including exposure to managing employee relations cases, talent acquisition, and leaves
  • Ability to build strong relationships quickly through demonstrated confidentiality
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
