Job description

The job duties and responsibilities of the AV Lead Technician include the following:

• Competently run project sites in a leadership role, managing assigned personnel while leading the physical installation of the project.
• Ability to safely install projectors, displays, speakers, projection screens, etc.
• Ability to correctly read & interpret AV and Construction schematics
• Perform in-house and onsite rack fabrication to company and industry standards
• Ability to perform minor DSP/Control System changes & uploads
• Ability to troubleshoot advanced AV systems
• Competency with, but not limited to:
• Crestron, Extron, QSC, Shure, Biamp, BSS, Cisco, Netgear
• Provide daily project updates to management
• Daily updating of AV flow documents for creation of post project as-builts

What do we require from you:

• 3+ years of audiovisual or industry related experience
• Knowledge of basic networking
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• Ability to work off a ladder or staging
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs.)
• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to travel or work overtime, as necessary
• Experienced use of basic power/hand tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams
• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• West Berlin, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
