Rated as the #1 Wedding Venue in Malibu, the Bel-Air Bay lub prides itself on producing outstanding guest experiences every day. We are seeking experienced Banquet Servers who possesses the same level of passion, desire and skill which translate into memorable lifetime experiences for our guests. Our desired Banquet Server candidates should posses energy, efficiency and excellent communication skills with impeccable etiquette.

The Banquet Server will be dedicated to all Banquet Events ranging in size from 75-300 people. We are seeking Part-Time, Full-Time and Summer Seasonal roles.

Work Hours

• This position is an hourly position, part-time, full-time or summer seasonal with a work schedule according to business demands. It requires working weekends and holidays with a willingness to work overtime if necessary.

Core Competencies:

• Committed to working a full schedule including evenings, every weekend and Holidays.
• Able to provide exceptional greeting standards to members and guests and execute seating.
• Able to carry multiple entrees (3) at one time and ability to use a cocktail tray for beverage service.
• High knowledge of Buffet set-up and service.
• High standard for yourself regarding grooming, appearance, cleanliness at all times.
• Must be able to proactively contribute to our teamwork dynamic by supporting each other consistently in a positive manner at all times.
• Position duties may include any other tasks as deemed necessary by managers in order to fulfill the obligations of the club.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of Banquet experience at a hotel, club or similar venue
• Knowledge of buffet set-up and service a must
• ServSafe and TIPS certified desired, or the ability to acquire it within state requirements.
• Additional knowledge of beverage/bar service helpful
• High level of professionalism
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Must display a positive, can-do attitude and sense of urgency
• Strong people skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Food & Beverage service training desired
