New Philadelphia Elks Lodge #510 seeks experienced, full-time manager who is self-disciplined, attentive, motivated, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile for members, their guests, and fellow teammates. We are looking for a passionate coach and mentor to provide high quality service and products while modeling the values of an Elk.

Manager Responsibilities:
The manager is responsible for the daily operations of the facility. S/He is expected to open the building in the morning and make arrangements for closing the building at the end of the day. S/He is responsible for all operations that occur in Bar and Grill.

The Manager is responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Interview bartender and server applicants
• Make recommendations for new hires to Board of Trustees
• Training, managing, quality assurance, and scheduling of all bartenders and servers
• Ensure all employees have received and signed company on-boarding documents and policy updates.
• Manage alcohol inventory
• Receive deliveries and write checks to pay for goods
• Balance all drawers, including tickets sales, daily
• Prepare and submit payroll on a bi-weekly basis
• Prepare and make deposit as needed
• Maintain cash balance in the ATM machine daily
• Maintain data in the Cake system
• Maintain bar appliances and fixtures
• Tend bar and serve as needed
• Work with Banquet Manager and Bingo Coordinator to ensure the needs of the business are met and each business unit is whole
• Knowledge or willingness to learn and use Quickbooks for financial data and reporting
• Attend Trustee meetings
• Attend training or Elk’s district meetings as required by Grand Lodge or by direction of the Board of Trustees
• Assist the Trustees in reaching financial goals
• Facilitate open lines of communication with the Head Trustee.

In line with the responsibilities of the manager, it is necessary for him/her to have the appropriate certification required by health department rules and requirements for restaurant service.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year + commission on beverage sale profit. Paid Vacation.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Supervising Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• Bartending/Serving Experience 2 years (Preferred)

About the Elks:We are a fraternal organization that serves our community thorough scholarships and charitable donations. Our bar and grille is here for the members and their families. We regularly host entertainment activities for our members and their guests. We also have banquet hall, which is regularly booking with wedding receptions, bingo, graduation parties, etc.
