Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Professional experience NOT required; PCA certification provided. Individuals need to be able to work individually and have the ability to read, write

Responsibilities

• Provide home health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to the doctor's office or to the hospital
• Assist with clients' personal care activities.
• Assist patients with mobility
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

What we will require:

• Complete a criminal background check:
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
• CPR
• PPD

Qualifications:

• High school degree/GED required
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license (in most cases)
• Ability to work in home-like settings
• Have six months of experience in home management activities and must meet state-specific requirements under licensure and other programs. Must meet all state requirements for
• Private Home Care regulations & Personal Care Aide requirements or be Certified Nursing
  
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
• Must maintain state regulatory certifications, as required by state/program requirements
• Attend all required training in accordance with ResCare, regulatory, and funding source requirements
