Oak Park Place is hiring a Staff Scheduler to work with our beautiful Menasha community. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing organization in offering exceptional care to seniors in a warm and caring environment. This is a great position for someone looking to grow in the healthcare field or to get some great Human Resource experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Update and maintain our schedule
• Ensure we are getting staff to fill any open shifts
• Process new hire paperwork
• Provide scheduling data, including maintaining previous schedules
• Track attendance and, provide disciplinary forms to managers as needed
• Facilitate orientation and onboarding
• Meet with new hires to ensure they are getting proper training
• Help improve retention
• Maintain HR paperwork
• Fill in on the floor as part of a rotation when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle challenging situations
• Attentive to details
• Previous experience in caregiving
• Previous experience working with scheduling preferably in a healthcare setting
• The ability to answer some staffing calls outside of hours and potential work floor shifts outside of the normal schedule
• Must be outgoing and willing to develop good employee relationships

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 3 years (Preferred)
• Scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
