Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Casting job in Graham, NC. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. As a Casting you will be responsible for casting refractory parts by mixing materials in Voellar Mixer Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Pay: $15.00 – $15:85
Shift: 7am - 3pm M-F; 1pm – 9pm M-F
- Responsibilities for this Casting job include:
- Prep large molds (50-20,000 lbs)
- Cast refractory into mold
- Remove refactory parts from molds
- Cosmetic work
- Washcoating
- Hand sanding
- Check for cracks , voids fill if necessary
- If needed operate mobile equipment or overhead crane
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Other tasks as directed

Qualifications for this Casting job include:
- High School or equivalent Diploma or Certificate
- Age 18 or over
- Understand measurements (lbs, oz…)
- Attention to detail
- Self motivation
- Able to read English and follow Company’s SOP (Standard Operation Procedures)
- Work in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply by percent with calculator)
- Ability to lif up to 60 lbs or 1/3 of body weight (whichever is less)Experience: Will train
