Mobile Crisis Services provides immediate on-site crisis intervention counseling with an assessment of the families need/functioning in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties. The Case Coordinator will assist in compiling data, tracking outcome measures, and following up with families and individuals in need of long-term mental health services. They will maintain close contact and communication with MRT Clinicians to coordinate continuation of care. Based out of Winter Park, FL, this position is responsible for referral coordination and discharge planning. Duties in this role include but are not limited to: working closely with other MRT Staff, coordinating care, researching community resources and updating referral information, contacting families by phone, email or in person, completing follow up documentation, and making appointments on behalf of individuals or families.

This position is not office based, although the position may require regular in-person follow-up meetings with individuals and families in the community.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least two years of progressively responsible office experience. Experience in a mental health setting preferred

Schedule:

  • Must be able to complete aone-week(Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL and Titusville, FL.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen, Physical, Physical Abilities Test, TB Test and Influenza Vaccine
  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires staff without an approved medical or religious exemption to be fully vaccinated to be employed in this program.
