Sage is looking for a Clinical Director who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinical operations and program-level performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day clinical operations through consistent communication with staff that is supportive of staff roles and responsibilities.
  • Leads the program development, design, and implementation of the program model and curriculum.
  • Participating in the recruitment and hiring of clinical treatment staff, ensuring that staff meet all professional requirements and are practicing within those requirements and related guidelines.
  • Provides supervision to counseling and therapy staff in a manner that ensures assessments, treatment plans, progress reporting, and transition planning is conducted according to clinical and accreditation standards.
  • Partners with the Executive Director and Quality Director to implement quality initiatives and clinical training.
  • Achieves optimal client lengths-of-stay metrics, including facilitation of client admissions and transitions within levels of care.
  • Works with the Executive Director and Quality Director to ensure safety and compliance with all governing bodies and internal policies and procedures.
  • Oversees treatment team to ensure clinical excellence and the delivery of appropriate clinical interventions.
  • Responsible for communicating and assisting the clinical team in meeting productivity expectations based on monthly budget targets.
  • Ensures resolution of complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions at the site-level.
  • Optimizes employee engagement, retention, and turnover at the site-level.
  • Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Candidates must have proven clinical and administrative skills in behavioral health and dual diagnosis treatment programs and experience working with trauma related disorders
  • Previous experience with substance abuse treatment is required; preferred experience with a treatment facility in the detox, residential, partial hospitalization ("PHP"), and/or intensive outpatient ("IOP) setting
  • Candidates must have an understanding and experience with regulatory agency compliance (CARF and/or JCAHO) as well program development

Education and Experience:

  • Licensed Independent Practitioner in the state of New Mexico is required (LPCC or LCSW)

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience and supervisory experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
