Job Description:
- Assists the nurse and physician in the delivery of patient care considering age/development level, under the direction of the Professional staff.
- Performs tasks as specified on the attached list.
- Prepares and assists the patients for exams/procedures maintaining their privacy at all times.
- Maintains an orderly flow of patients
- Informs patients of procedures to be performed i.e. EKG, phlebotomy etc.
- Ensures the integrity, proper preparation and labeling of specimens
- Follows OSHA standards and Infection Control policies
