Position Description:
The purpose of the Commercial Financial Analyst position is to assist in preparation, coordination and documentation of financial analysis projects for the organization. The Commercial Financial Analyst will manage pricing and the pricing strategy, highlight key trends and issues, make recommendations to the leadership team and contribute to the preparation and analysis of various financial reports.

Major Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:
Develop and manage the company pricing strategy and set all new product pricing, evaluate profitability and pricing on existing products, analyze quotes/bids, and manage all price changes.
Perform various sales, margin, gap, ROI, and trend analyses while creating sustainable system reports and dashboards to support it
Work with Sourcing to understand commodity and raw material fluctuations to evaluate and report on the impact to forecast and customer pricing strategies
Develop, report, and drive Commercial (Sales and Marketing) KPI’s
Provides analytical support for forward-looking financial and business-related projects
Assists in the preparation of sales and margin forecasts cross functionally
Drives continuous standardization and optimization of both system and business processes
Assists in financial forecasting, month end close, and reconciliation of internal accounts

Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Analyze financial data including budgets, forecasts etc. taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing
Provide alternatives and fact-based recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance across various levels of management

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong capability in quantitative analysis
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong drive for continuous learning
Self-starter who is able to work independently and interact and support other internal teams
Demonstrated understanding of relational data, using analytics to drive recommendations/solutions, and a deep curiosity to understand how the data flows.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
0-2 years of experience
NetSuite and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse experience preferred
