Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Communications Specialist to join our team! In this role you will support a high-speed, operationally-focused customer at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Source Operations group (SX) planning, coordinating, and delivering communications that support SX business processes. SX operates within the Source Directorate and interacts with customers to develop innovative and integrated GEOINT strategies, along with providing GEOINT data and services to better serve customer needs. SX also optimizes and manages GEOINT collection sources, and works with suppliers and partners to enable decision advantage by optimizing and accelerating GEOINT tasking, collection, and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Developing, coordinating, and executing strategic communications and marketing plans for SX that will familiarize both internal and external customers with the capabilities and services SX provides.

• Assisting in the assessment of communications metrics and data to inform strategic communications decisions.

• Crafting/providing briefings and helping other members of the Communications Team.

• Creating, editing, and reviewing briefings and other communications documents (including the Director of National Intelligence’s Weekly Activity Report) for consistency and clarity of message.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree

• DoD TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph).

• Ability to succeed in a high-speed, high operational-tempo environment.

• Experience communicating both orally and in writing with senior government executives on a daily basis.

• Experience assessing communications metrics and data to support senior decision makers at the executive level for strategic communications decisions.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Demonstrated experience with electronic publishing and the publication production process.

• Demonstrated experience in presenting oral and written communications to diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated experience providing strategic-level decisions in a team environment.

Top Secret/SCI (with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph)
