Job description

We are looking for a passionate Red Cross certified First Aid Instructor to educate our work force on how to respond to emergencies and treat injuries. It is necessary to have an instructor certification prior to applying. Our First Aid Instructors are responsible for providing instruction and guidance to all employees, and must be qualified to administer CPR, AED treatments and other emergency procedures. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is patient, has a knack for teaching, and is committed to ongoing professional development. Since we are working with the American Red Cross our instructors need to be Vaccinated against covid-19. We are actively hiring an instructor for a part time morning role.

Requirements:

First aid, CPR and AED instructor certification

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in the use of first aid equipment and techniques.
• Train and evaluate employees in first aid techniques.
• Train students to administer first aid including CPR, AED application, rescuing victims, triage skills, wound care and use of emergency supplies.
• Create the training lessons and certification exams for the training program.
• Evaluate the classes to ensure high standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for training.
• Teach about emergency procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $37.00 - $70.00 per hour
